U.S. concerned about India’s participation in Russia military exercises

Air Force One, August 30 (Reuters) – The United States is concerned about India’s plan to participate in military training together with Russia, Press Secretary of the White House Karine Jean -Pierre said on Tuesday.

Last month, Moscow announced plans to hold a “Vostok” (East) training from 30 August to 5 September, even when carrying out expensive wars in Ukraine.

Military training is estimated to include China, India, Belarus, Mongolia, Tajikistan and other countries, the Chinese Ministry of Defense said.

Asked about India’s participation, Jean-Pierre told reporters when President Joe Biden flew to Pennsylvania that the United States was concerned with any country who participated in military training with Russia while fighting with Ukraine.
