Pakistan’s Ailing Musharraf Set To Return Home From Dubai: Report

Former Pakistani military leader Pervez Musharraf, who has lived in Dubai since 2016, is expected to return to Pakistan soon.

The former president has been in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the past six years received medical treatment.

After the news about Pakistani Muslim Muslim health, the Pakistani Muslim League (PML-N), a main stakeholder in the coalition government, and military leadership said that the former president must be brought to the country if he wants to return, reported by Geo news.

Supremo PML-N Nawaz Sharif last week asked the coalition government to facilitate the Musharraf if he wanted to return to Pakistan, adding that he did not have “hostility or personal struggle” with a former dictator.

Director General of Inter-Services (ISPR) Public Relations Major Babar Iftikhar also said that military leadership believes that former army heads must return to Pakistan.

Previously, the Musharraf expressed his desire to spend “the rest of his life” in his home country, local media reported.
