UK-Pakistan Council for enhancing trade

Pakistan and the UK enjoyed a very good economic and multi-dimensional relations, which will be more cemented in the coming days, said Chairman of the British-Pakistan Business Council Mian Kashif Ashfaq.

Speaking with a delegation led by the Pakistani-English friendship council, northern president Muhammad Arbab Khan on Monday, he said that “Pakistan has an old historical bond with Britain, which needs to be strengthened”.

Highlighting the broad economic agenda, he said that economic and fiscal stability that led to economic recovery and growth was one of the government’s priorities.

The government creates a business -friendly environment to attract foreign investment in various sectors that have a common interest,” he added. “The broad scope of foreign investment is in Pakistan with an attractive incentive package,” Ashfaq said.

He stressed the need for a joint meeting oriented to the results with British-Pakistan investors.

He urged Pakistani exporters to penetrate the British hidden markets and build a close liaison with British entrepreneurs.

UPBC will facilitate all British visits to explore the investment path,” he added.

He hoped that the leader of the British delegation, Muhammad Arbab Khan, would work with his dedicated team and bring more investment to Pakistan in addition to helping to increase Pakistani exports to England.

Khan invited the Chairman of the British-Pakistan Business Council to visit Britain and propose to arrange a meeting one by one with British investors.
