Fans Are Furious Over The Removal Of ‘Top Boy: Summerhouse’ On Netflix.

Top Boy fans have had a bad start to the year, with some episodes of the original programme being deleted from Netflix and more sure to follow. Top Boy: Summerhouse Season 1 is no longer available on Netflix worldwide.

Top Boy is a popular criminal drama series developed by Ronan Bennett that premiered on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. It aired on the UK channel for two seasons before being discontinued.

Netflix’s Still Watching Netflix channel has a great overview of the show’s history. The programme was resurrected at Netflix after 6 years of being cancelled, owing to an odd source. Drake.

The programme will return to Netflix in 2022 for a second full season (officially season 4) after filming took place in 2021.

Is it impossible to be completely removed from Netflix?

Despite the fact that the programme was restarted, Netflix did not add the new season to the existing show’s website, despite the fact that it was officially the third season.

Consequently, Netflix dubbed the previous two seasons Top Boy: Summerhouse, with branding from Channel 4, and gave the current season its own title, just Top Boy.

It’s the first time Netflix has done something like this for a revival. When it comes to Black Mirror (which was bought from Channel 4 in a similar way, albeit the ownership is different), all seasons, old and new, were and are included together. Shows like Lucifer and Designated Survivor are in the same boat.

This shows that Channel 4 had always planned to remove the first two seasons off Netflix at some time.

It’s also worth noting that, while starting with Netflix’s season first is not encouraged, it is feasible to do so and skip the first two seasons. Again, not advised, but it appears that this will be the only choice in the end.

At the start of the year, Netflix lost a lot of early seasons of shows. The Great British Baking Show’s early seasons were entirely lost in the United States, while Heartland’s early seasons were lost in most Netflix areas across the world.

Review

The first season of Netflix’s Top Boy: Summerhouse is a four-part English adaptation of HBO’s cops-and-robbers masterwork The Wire. Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Ashley Walters) own the fictitious Summerhouse estate in Hackney (Kane “Kano” Robinson). It’s written with a true ear to the ground of the capital’s culture by Ronan Bennett, and it stars performers who are mostly from the world they’re depicting.
