Rush Of One-Way Flights Out Of Russia After Putin’s Ukraine Threat

The day after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s call for mobilization, the first since World War II, one -way ticket from Russia was sold out quickly and the price of tickets skyrocketed. The President’s speech has caused concern that martial arts can be worn and people from the age of battle will not be allowed to leave Russia, the media report said.

The clip distributed by Global Flight Tracing Service Flegradar24 showed a one -way flight leaving Russia, after Google Trends data showed a search surge for Aviasales, the most popular Russian website for buying flights, Reuters reported.

Flights from Russia are almost fully ordered this week, airline data and travel agents showed on Wednesday, AFP reported. Flights between Russia and the European Union have been closed since Putin announced Moscow’s “Special Military Operations” in Ukraine.

Putin yesterday stated “partial mobilization,” calling 300,000 reserves in the large escalation of the Ukraine invasion.
