Taliban announcement a clear sign girls returning to school

Schools for all students will open this week, the Ministry of Taliban education managed by Afghanistan announced Monday at the clearest sign that girls will be allowed to return at school.

Girls have been rejected outside the 6th grade because the Taliban swept back to power last August.

The international community has been stopped in pushing the ruler of the Afghan Taliban to allow girls to return to school. Earlier this year, new rulers opened the university for women, even though the class was a separated gender. They also promised women will be allowed to return to class in all classes after Afghan’s new year, which is celebrated Monday.

The ministry statement does not refer specifically to girls but said: “The Ministry of Education convinces this nation committed to the rights to education of all its citizens.”

When they last ruled, music was banned, girls were denied education and women were not permitted to work and were asked to wear all the Burqa which included. The Taliban was overthrown in 2001 by the LED Coalition U.S.
