A video tweeted by the AFP news agency shows that civilians are forced to travel by foot with their items, children and pets, with ice winds and dazzling snow.

Intense shootings and air strikes have caused large damage in and around the city. Russian forces slowly penetrated Kyiv despite intense efforts with Ukrainian forces that occurred, and moved faster through the east and north of the country.

Russia on Tuesday opened “Humanitarian Corridors” so that people can be evacuated from Kyiv and four other Ukrainian cities: Cherhihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Mariupol.

Ukraine, however, accused Russia to attack the corridor of the surrounding South Port City Mariupol, where assistance workers said tens of thousands of people lived in conditions “apocalyptic”.

Kyiv has a corridor brand, publicity action because many outgoing routes cause Russia or Ally Belarus. Both parties accused each other from a violation of the ceasefire.
