Won’t Contest UP Election Next Year, Says Akhilesh Yadav
Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said he won’t challenge the Uttar Pradesh Assembly surveys ahead of schedule one year from now.
He likewise said that a partnership between his party and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) for the surveys has been concluded.
“Our coalition with RLD is conclusive. Seat sharing is to be finished,” he told PTI in a meeting.
Mr Yadav, who is likewise SP MP from Azamgarh and the central clergyman face of his party, said he will “not be challenging the get together surveys”.
On possibilities of taking uncle Shivpal Yadav’s Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL) along in the surveys, he said, “I don’t have any issue in this. He and his men will be given due honor”.
