Priyanka Gandhi Flags Off Congress’s ‘Pratigya Yatra’ In Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow: Secretary General of Congress and Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra established from three ‘Pratiga Yatras’ from Barabanki today to be brought to people the various resolutions adopted by the party in front of the valuable election for the State of Uttar next year.
Congress leader, who previously announced to provide 40 percent of tickets to women in elections other than smartphones for class 12 pass girls and e-scooty for women graduates, also launched other resolutions from the party.
“Some of our main promises of Manifesto are free e-scooty and cellphones for school girls, neglect of agricultural loans, ₹ 25,000 per year to poor families, half electricity bills for all and full neglect of the Pending Electric bill period Covid,” Priyanka Gandhi said Vadra while kicking Yatra.
Three Yatras – from Barabanki to Bundelkhand, Saharanpur to Mathura and Varanasi to Rae Bareli – will run until November 1.
Former MP Pramod Tiwari will lead the Varanasi route to Rae Bareli which will cover the Awadh region, while Route Barabanki-Bundelkhand will be led by PL Punia and former Minister of Union Pradeep Jain Aditya.
During this demonstration, Congress will communicate “seven promises” to people in the state, regardless of the election manifesto.
Yatra will cover 12,000 kilometers. Various press conferences, ‘Nukkad Sabhas”, visit Temple, Roadshow, Jan Sabhas, etc. will be held during Yatra.
MS Gandhi Vadra has taken over the government on a number of problems, including the deaths of four farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri earlier this month. This week he was detained by the police (for the second time in a month) after he tried to visit the family of a man who died in police custody.
