Nawab Malik says he received threat call for targeting NCB's Sameer Wankhede
Leader of the NAWAB Malik PCN claimed on Friday that he had received a threat of a person who warned him against the Narcotics Narcotics Control Office (NCB) Zonal Director Wankhede.
Nawab Malik said that a complaint was filed on the call of the threat. The call was made from Rajasthan, he said.
The head of the NCP, which launched attacks on Sameer Wankhede during the Mumbai Drug Bust case, had even targeted the family of the latter. He wondered earlier: “During the Pandemic of Covid-19, the whole of the film industry was in the Maldives. What was the officer [Sameer Wankhed] and his family doing in the Maldives and Dubai? “
Nawab Malik alleged that “attempts were made to involve some people in false cases and that” Vasuli “(extortion) took place in Dubai and the Maldives. He said he even has photographs to establish the same thing.
Responding to these allegations, Sameer Wankhede, director of the Zonal of the NCB Mumbai Unit, told India today on television that his family was attacked by Nawab Malik and he would hold a legal remedy in the matter .
“The minister says incorrect things. It’s an absolute lie. I went to the Maldives with my children for a vacation. I took the adequate permission of the competent authority for the same thing. I did not meet anyone , and I did not meet you would specify these types of accusations further. In December, I was in Mumbai, at the time he said I was in Dubai. It was not the first time Nawab Malik targeted the NCB or Sameer Wankhede. He had leveled allegations against Wankhede shortly after the Mumbai drug bust case was clear.
Nawab Malik had asserted that the so-called recovery of the prohibited drugs from the cruise ship off the coast was “fake” and arrests were simply made on WhatsApp’s discussions.
However, Sameer Wankhede refuted all the allegations and stated that everything was done legally. The NCB then published a statement indicating that some incorrect information had been shared on social media for Sameer Wankhede.
